Our last night

Our last night is turning out to be very unceremonious. Like the last 14 days, it's full of chores. We have been busy packing (again) doing laundry and booking shuttles to and from the airports.

So, about the car.... We went to clean Pearl today to get her ready for Carmax - and SHE FREAKING DIED at a gas station! It's funny (now) but I was really not happy. Two angels (old guys) decided to help us to restore her back to her fully operational state. They told me that I had to drive her around to recharge the battery, so I drove around a movie parking lot just wondering how fast am I supposed to be going and for how long??? I finally decided that I had enough (carsick) and I drove straight to a Nissan dealership. I figured with today's economy, they wouldn't want to have a broke down pathfinder in the front of their lot. Luckily she started right up and we will be ready to sell her in the morning. After that, we get the hotel shuttle to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel, have a late check out and then have the shuttle to the airport pick us up and take us there.

I am sure it is going to be a mess - so pray for us. You know, I can usually get out of carrying heavy stuff but with 4 bags, two backpacks, two dogs and two kennels - I don't think I will be so lucky this time. Oh well :( Wish me luck!
