Almost Home

Today was better than yesterday - I need that to continue to be the case! We got up early (again) today in order to get our furniture delivered from the other couple's house to our new apartment. The apartment is really nice and I can't wait for you to see it! It has hardwood floors throughout most of the flat. It has a big kitchen (by European standards) a guest room, a master, a "water closet" (which means the room with the commode), the rest of what should be in a bathroom in the other room, and a big living room. All of the windows have ledges outside of them so that we can have little flower boxes on the outside. We are both excited about that! Some of you know that the kitchen is yellow with blue tiles as a back splash. It reminds me of the Olive Garden! LOL - We will post some pictures as soon as we take them!

Lee and Vonn thanks for calling today! It was really awesome to talk to you. Unfortunately, we signed out of skype and can't remember Cyn's password. I will have to figure that out to get us signed back on - so have patience and don't be surprised if we have to give you a new name to call if we can't figure it out!

By the way, we are now official masters of the metro - we went to a new place today and it was totally smooth. We both have Navigo passes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Navigo_pass) that allow us to ride as much as we want for a monthly fee. It's great because it makes riding much easier and allow us to talk less to mean French "customer service" people :-)

One last thing, keep us in your prayers. We are both getting a little sick - probably due to the cold & wet weather and all of the walking that we have to do in it! Hopefully it will pass if we get some good early rest tonight!
